Support Us

The Winedale Historical Complex has projects, facilities and equipment needs each year beyond what the University of Texas system is able to provide. This is where the Friends of Winedale come in. Our group, completely made up of volunteers, is the principal fundraising support for the complex. And there are many ways to give!

Preservation work in progress on the Koneschik Log Kitchen and the Boecker Log Smokehouse located behind the Lewis-Wagner House. The project was funded by proceeds from the Friends of Winedale 2018 Sommerabend Fest: With A Little Help From Our Friends and fully completed in 2019.

We sponsored smaller events like the Kelly Willis and Bruce Robinson Concert in the Theater Barn in 2019 that raised money through sponsorships and ticket sales. Thank you for your support!  We couldn’t make this kind of impact without you!

Volunteers needed! Winedale is looking for volunteers to give house tours. There is no obligation as to how many hours or days you work. You just need to have a love of history and the desire to work with the public! An online training session will be held Tuesday, October 19th and Thursday, November 18th 10 a.m. via zoom. E-mail Tricia for the link. Can’t make the session? Just contact Tricia and she’ll find a time that works for you!

You can support on-going preservation at Winedale any time through annual gifts, sponsorship of one of our fundraising events, and individual donations to specific houses or FOW projects that create community and protect the future for Winedale, in keeping with Miss Hogg’s vision.  All levels of support are greatly appreciated!
